I've installed J on Linux and various desktop Windows systems (at least NT
or XP through W10) over the years with little to no problem.

Today I installed it on a Windows 2008 server. When I double-clicked the
green J, nothing happened. I opened Cygwin bash, navigated to the
directory with jconsole.bat and jqt.exe and tried launching them (e.g.,
../jqt.exe or ./jconsole.bat). In both cases, I got a message something
like "load failed ... j.dll". I've never seen anything like this before.
While I'll ask my help desk tomorrow for assistance, I thought I'd drop a
quick note here to see if anyone has seen anything similar on Windows 2008
Server and has a handy fix to try or question that might help me find the
problem faster. NB: I'm not a Windows expert.
