re wiki: We'll fix the specific dead link you point out.
We'll try to clean up the install related pages over the next week or so as we get ready for the 901 release. We should do the things you suggest and will move slowly in that direction. As always it is a question of resources and priorities. It is a wiki and anyone could contribute in the ways your suggest.
