Hi Art, Maybe go back and check your Security and Privacy tab in your System Preferences app. In the bottom panel it may show that it has already blocked running the app and you need to explicitly permit it before it will actually run. This has frustrated me with Apple's security in the past. I don't mind them minding the farm for me, but if they are keeping the gate shut they should at least let me know that they are doing that and they often don't.
