Hi! I have downloaded and installed J902 on Android. Over the years I have dabbled with J and found that the current Android version is the best yet. To remind myself of the language, I ran the `J as your first computer language` lab and it reports:
wdhandler error in: labsel_listbox_select file name error: script 0!:0 y[4!:55<'y' [-1]/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.jsoftware.j.android/files/addons/labs/labs/core/jpcfmt.ijs In the J Android view, after the lab's first screen it says: *****Warning***** Your Qt system is out of date. To refresh, follow the instructions at http://[...]/Qt IDE/Install#Upgrade. Don't forget to update the ide/qt addon. not found: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.jsoftware.j.android/files/addons/ide/qt/debug.ijs. The last line is correct - the relevant folder (ide/qt) is indeed missing from the `addons` folder. There is no option to install ide/qt in the package manager and so there doesn't seem to be a fix. Is this an installation problem? If this is intentional, please could labs be labelled as unsuitable for android? This would be a great reassurance to those 'playing around' and being somewhat worried when things go wrong. Many thanks for your help Marv ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
