I've been the one who's written that. It looked to small to blog about it (and I still think it is). If we managed to get the IPv6 problem resolved on hermes that would really be cool and then I'd blog about it. Unfortunately I haven't found the time to follow-up on it yet.
The issue that Gump found was that ant-contrib-cpptasks-test relied on the fact that any executable called "link" that could be found on the PATH had to be Microsoft's DevStudio Linker. Linux or SunOS usually don't have a link command while FreeBSD seems to have a form of ln using that name.
