I am trying to run hadoop in standalone mode (mainly to get it working with pig).
I get this error: log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.apache.hadoop.conf.Configuration). log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. Looking around, I haven't been able to find a straightforward "this is what you need to do," and I know very little about these things. I'd be very thankful if someone could enlighten me...
