Karthik, I continue to be at a loss on how to unsubscribe. I subscribed to this about a month ago using my one and only work email address [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.
I've pasted below the response I got from the unsubscribe process, yet I continue to receive emails from the list. I carefully followed the instructions below and emailed [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> and that didn't work either (no response from the server). I'm using mainstream email products - Outlook for Mac and Exchange Server. It shouldn't be this hard. Can you help? Pasted below the header from emails I continue to receive: Received: from outbound.appriver.com (98.129.23.1) by HT05.exg5.exghost.com (98.129.23.150) with Microsoft SMTP Server id 8.3.297.1; Tue, 29 Jan 2013 14:29:48 -0600 Received: from [174.143.82.53] (HELO inbound.appriver.com) by outbound.appriver.com (CommuniGate Pro SMTP 5.3.5) with ESMTP id 1028405206 for [email protected]; Tue, 29 Jan 2013 14:29:48 -0600 X-Note-AR-ScanTimeLocal: 1/29/2013 2:29:47 PM X-Policy: pentaho.com X-Primary: [email protected] X-Note: This Email was scanned by AppRiver SecureTide X-Virus-Scan: V- X-Note-SnifferID: 0 X-Note: TCH-CT/SI:0-147/SG:3 1/29/2013 2:28:47 PM X-GBUdb-Analysis: 0, 140.211.11.3, Ugly c=0.501601 p=-0.707692 Source Normal X-Signature-Violations: 0-0-0-4763-c X-Note-419: 0 ms. This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> mailing list. Acknowledgment: The address [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> was not on the user mailing list when I received your request and is not a subscriber of this list. If you unsubscribe, but continue to receive mail, you're subscribed under a different address than you currently use. Please look at the header for: 'Return-Path: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>' The unsubscribe address for this user would be: '[email protected]<mailto:'[email protected]>'. Just mail to that address, substituting user=host.dom for the real values, reply to the confirmation request, and you should receive a message that you're off the list. Hi Ian When you send an email to the address you mentioned, you should receive another email asking you to confirm. Replying to that email should unsubscribe you. I have done that in the past with other Apache mailing lists - so would expect it to work with this list too.
