It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Apache Hadoop community has voted to release Apache Hadoop 2.7.1. Hadoop 2.7.1 is the first minor release in the Hadoop-2.7.x line. This release is now considered the first stable release in 2.7.x line. It brings in a number of enhancements since the last stable release of 2.6.0.
