This is the next release of Apache Hadoop 2.7 line. It is a successor to the previous stable release 2.7.3, which was available since August 25, 2016. Apache Hadoop 2.7.4 includes 264 issues fixed after the 2.7.3 release, which are critical bug fixes and major optimizations.
