The Jakarta Commons community has voted to accept a donation from Luc Maisonoble of the Mantissa math library, for inclusion in Jakarta Commons Math.
The IP clearance form is checked into /ip-clearance as jakarta-commons-mantissa.xml. The source is here: http://www.spaceroots.org/software/mantissa/mantissa-for-commons-math.zip Luc has submitted an CLA and software grant, both of which have been acked and recorded. The grant was updated to refer to the final codebase (excluding some classes for which he could not claim sole ownership) and MD5. Ack of the modified grant is still pending. We would like to bring the code into Jakarta svn. If there are no objections before 15-Oct-06, I will commit the code into jakarta svn and we will begin the process of repackaging and incorporating selected modules into commons-math. Thanks!
