Only partially correct, at least in the context of this e-mail.
Many of the participants in discussions here are experienced ASF Members,
but many are entirely new, and I'd like to see that we set a correct tone
for civil, polite, if enthusiastic, discourse. As was observed:

This same discussion came up in recent years as to why there are so few
female participants in Open Source. And while I don't want to revisit that
particular issue, I do want to remind everyone to please watch and control
their tone.
