Right. Looking over Steve's argument I see he was referring to Thrift.
ISTR issues around Thrift not having released and Cassandra (still in
incubation)
shipping Thrift jars, but that problem has been resolved (hopefully) by
Cassandra only shipping Thrift releases instead of code from trunk.
