I agree with JBO who is often mentoring more podlings than anyone.

There is value in the podling’s dev list understanding immediately the why of a 
-1. The podling is the community impacted by a slow vote on general. 

The Apache Trusted Releases (ATR) platform is able to keep track of the 
original threads in whatever lists they are. And it can certainly handle 
cross-posting.

We are also automating many of the checks that are done so that RMs will know 
quickly if there are License problems, etc and fix them before there is a VOTE.

We are looking for podling’s who would like to try it out.
