BTW, The current Download Page appears to link to artifacts hosted on third-party infrastructure rather than ASF-managed distribution channels. In addition, cryptographic signatures and checksums are not currently provided for verification.
To ensure compliance with ASF Infrastructure guidelines[1][2] and the ASF Release Policy, the Download Page should be updated to distribute official releases via ASF-managed channels and include the corresponding signature and checksum files.
