Hi all, The Apache Auron (Incubating) community is pleased to announce the release of Apache Auron (Incubating) 8.0.0.
Auron is dedicated to improving the efficiency and elasticity of different data processing engines. It provides high-performance native execution and efficient intermediate data processing, including shuffle data, spilled data, and result data. Apache Auron 8.0.0-incubating significantly expands Flink integration, native scan support for Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, and Apache Paimon, native expression and function coverage, cross-version compatibility, and runtime reliability. Major highlights include: - Broader Apache Flink integration and native Kafka source support - Native scan support for Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, and Apache Paimon - Additional native expressions, functions, window functions, and join conditions - Support for Apache Spark 4.0 and 4.1 build workflows - Improved correctness testing, observability, and runtime stability Download: https://auron.apache.org/archives/v8.0.0-incubating.html Starting from v6.0.0, Auron only provides a source distribution because the project supports many different build options. Users can build Auron with their own environment and options or use GitHub Actions after forking the repository.
