Hi all, We are withdrawing the release candidate #2 of Apache Fesod (Incubating) version 2.1.0-incubating. The vote on this candidate is hereby closed as canceled.
Reason ------ During review, a release-blocking defect was found in the Maven staging repository `orgapachefesod-1037`: the staged `fesod-parent-2.1.0-incubating-source-release.zip` was assembled from the release manager's working directory rather than from a clean checkout of the Git tag. As a result it bundled non-source artifacts (release-manager/RC working directories, staging deployment logs and an embedded copy of the source tarball with its checksums and signatures) while omitting some files that are part of the tag. Compared with tag `2.1.0-incubating-rc2`, the ZIP contained 864 extra files and was missing 22 tagged files. Please disregard the earlier vote request for RC2: https://lists.apache.org/thread/lb26t674vdrhgkv3slvxljdzvp36f9pg The primary source artifact (`apache-fesod-2.1.0-incubating-src.tar.gz`) matched tag `1cd6e891316cfea2c49028091be9d6ee0409cd1e` exactly and passed signature, checksum, LICENSE/NOTICE/DISCLAIMER, RAT and build checks; the defect was limited to the source-release.zip in the staging repository. Next steps ---------- A corrected release candidate will be prepared with the source archive rebuilt from a clean `git archive` of the exact tag so that it matches the tag file-by-file, and a new vote will be started separately.
