As a general answer to a general question ;) I have several clients whose mission critical business systems include Jakarta projects. The list of Jakarta projects that are depended upon include Velocity, Tomcat (3.x with testing of 4.x), Log4j, Ant, ORO, and Lucene. I know of others that depend on Struts, Turbine, taglibs, et al, but cannot speak about as they are not in my direct experience. Anything not listed wasn't mentioned only because it was not within my direct or indirect experience. Do not take it as anything but ignorance on my part :) Further, it is my experience that Jakarta projects are of generally high quality with a solid community behind them interested in the real-world success of the software. -- Geir Magnusson Jr. [EMAIL PROTECTED] System and Software Consulting "We will be judged not by the monuments we build, but by the monuments we destroy" - Ada Louise Huxtable -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
