Although the name does not derive from the Apache culture, it is a nice coincidence. Having lived in southeast Arizona, I think it definitely is a really cool appelation. (BTW, the Apaches don't really call themselves Apaches, that is just a name given to them by the Spanish explorers.) Besides, isn't it better sometimes to build your own heritage, rather than borrow from others?
