I noticed that
* mysql-*.jar
MM MySQL JDBC Driver
http://www.worldserver.com/mm.mysql/
appeared in downloads I did yesterday from the ASF web site
jakarta.apche.org.
I beleive the latter is under the GPL - and a quick glance shows that
there may be more. As it stands
- We do not seem to adhere to the license conditions of
this package (see for example tdk-2.1.tar.gz/MD5(tdk-2.1.tar.gz)=
fb1366f435ea72831477cc454e19fee9). (Not picking on turbine -
just an example - See the file COPYING which comes with
mm.mysql).
- And I cannot find that we have negotiated a special
license with the author of mm.mysql to be exempt.
I aplogize if I missed something - but it may be an idea for you foksk to
please fix this, or make it clear we are comlient --or-- when in doubt -
pull the non compliant downloads from the site as appropriate/directed by
your PMC ?
