cvs has done the important thing, any problems after that are >99% likely to be with the mail system.

When I did a "sorted and cleaned imports" patch in Jetspeed a while away, I committed it as a whole (just cosmetic changes, no need for granularity), and the mail was returned because it exceeded some list limit.
This ca happen if the diff are more than 100K, I seem to recall.
