I've not looked at JCS; I've done a bit of tinkering on BCEL. +1 to moving them. But I hope the move won't *require* the package names to be changed to o.a.commons. Likewise Maven ids. If later on it proves necessary to make an incompatible API change, that would be the point to change package names.
