I see his point. I wish there were a way to make a more graceful transition
for our users.

Danny has karma for Jakarta site. He can update the Jakarta site links to
point to the new places. For the time being, I think that makes sense to
have links from Jakarta to James, e.g., announcements, mailing lists and the
downloads page. When we have our james-site module, we'll clone over some
of the Jakarta pages and re-do them for James (e.g., the download and
mailing list pages). But unless someone frees up some time to work on the
james-site and the build scripts, it will just take some time to get there.

When we move our mailing lists to @james.apache.org (i.e.,
[email protected] to [EMAIL PROTECTED]), Brian says
he would prefer to setup bounce messages for the old addresses rather
than creating aliases.

Any big objections?
