1- can you tell which file is it complaining about
2- why wouldn't the CD boot originally; if you have burned it right, it
should boot normally, my advice to you, is to concentrate on one thing and
one thing only: get that first CD of Mandrake 10.1 to work; even if you
have to borrow it (last resort ofcourse). "Tip: try to verify your
downloaded ISO image checksum. if you downloaded it to M$ then there is an
MD5 checksum verified/creator for M$ called md5summer (google and get)"
