Gentoo is planning for a graphical installer based on GTK... i believe 
thats a good step and will overcome many newbies problems trying to 
install gentoo, but at the same time, i believe gentoo's current command 
line installation is what makes it unique and also helps many learn more 
and more ... You really do learn much more when a distribution is not 
friendly :) and when u learn how to operate on it, u find it to be the 
most friendly friend every .. thats my personal opinion.
