well i'm still looking for someone who has a video capture card (video-in) since my camcorder isn't digital. i think a friend->friend->friend has a card, i'll be going there on friday. it should be available pretty soon. i usually transcode movies into .ogm format, which is ogg audio + xvid video (open codecs ;-) ), better quality than mp3+divx. problem is the output can only be played on pcs, i'll try to encode them to vcds, but i've never done that before...
