try to mount the filesystem like this
$ mount {dev} {mountpoint} -o iocharset=utf8
now supposedly u can read and write arabic file names
.

hello everybody
i'm new member i jolug
i have a small background about unix and i hope i can be a best user of it
any way my question is that i have installed linux mandrake 10.1 but there
is a problem which is i cant read the arabic files or folders...in fact i
cant even see them
i have tried to install fonts but it didnt work out
so can u plz help me to solve this problem
