Well, Apple is BSD Unix (with some stuff from OSF) but is
a nice Personal Computer - I think it is ironic that IBM
was the provider of CPUs to Apple (G3-5), and now MS is
using IBM CPUs in the X-box all the while Apple is going
the other way. Aside from my annoyance at "little endian"
numbers, the Xeon or AMD64 is quite a far cry from the
8086 of 25 years ago.

Also a little funny that we continue to call it the IBM PC
even though they have mostly divested such business...
