I was looking at the lab for best fit

It is very impressive

I would like to comment on two things

In step 7 I guess this text should be

   A = [1,. log x_i],   X = [b k],   and B = [log y_i]

In our case, we have n equations of the form

        (1)b + (log x_i)k = y_i

in the two unknowns b and k. Thus to apply matrix divide:

   A = [1, log x_i],   X = [b k],   and B = [y_i]

[The J code is shown below. Note that we get the same values
for a and k that we had previously obtained.]
)
  A =: 1,.xlg
  'b k' =: ylg %. A
  [a =: e^b
3.73761
  k
1.4445

To make it a bit more visible it might be interesting to add

-------------- after step 6 would be nice to have
require'plot'

  pd'reset'
  pd vx;vy
  pd vx;yp
  pd'show'

Also do similar for the rest of the lab
