http://www.patchwise.com/products/pwf3info.php.  I doubt its cross platform 
compatible.

Its not completely obvious that its a good idea due to non standard patch 
management accross OSs.  The fact that frequent updates are not expected means 
that people with major contributions can get together and merge them.

Tools like text diff 
http://www.thefreecountry.com/programming/filecomparison.shtml can help you 
locate text file differences, and everyone doesn't need to use the same 
software or version.

I have customized the JIJS.IJS files for both the PC and the PocketPC
versions and it is indeed a pain to maintain them over time.  Your
suggestion looks like a winner but I am afraid I still do not know how to
proceed.  Can you point me to the relevant information or documentation?
Failing that, can you provide a simple example?
