Its not completely obvious that its a good idea due to non standard patch management accross OSs. The fact that frequent updates are not expected means that people with major contributions can get together and merge them. How would we go about that? I have customized the JIJS.IJS files for both the PC and the PocketPC versions and it is indeed a pain to maintain them over time.
