To place the search provider in Firefox:

 - place each of the jforum.src and jwiki.src below under
   C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins\ (or your location)

 - open jicon.gif in Paint and save as jforum.png and jwiki.png, ibid

 - restart Firefox and enjoy the new search providers

Contents of the jforum.src and jwiki.src files (plain XML):

-------------------------------------------- jwiki.src ---
<search
version="7.1"
name="J Wiki"
description="Search J Wiki"
action="http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/";
method="GET"
>

<input name="action" value="fullsearch">
<input name="value" user="">

</search>

------------------------------------------- jforum.src ---
<search
version="7.1"
name="J Forum"
description="Search J Forum"
action="http://www.jsoftware.com/cgi-bin/forumsearch.cgi?all={searchTerms}&exa=&one=&exc=&add=&sub=&fid=&tim=0&rng=0&dbgn=1&mbgn=1&ybgn=1998&dend=31&mend=12&yend=2010";
method="GET"
>

</search>

---------------------------------------------------------

Note: if J Forum search gracefully handled missing
HTTP params same as empty ones, it would allow
same notation as J Wiki, such as:

  <input name="all" user="">

etc.
