I would consider this an interpreter bug. The interpreter seems to think that f"r^:_1 is f^:_1"r, which is true for atomic verbs, or other verbs like |. that preserve the ranks of their arguments, but is usually not true of verbs in general. (If this is how it is intended to work, I would class it as "misfeature" instead.) -- Mark D.
