The wd'msgs' does get the smoutput text out as my verb runs.

In my verb, it did add an odd new wrinkle. All of the J windows controlled by the ijx task stopped showing up in the alt-tab window list until the rapid fire sequence of wd'msgs' ended. The J windows still could be selected via the Window's task bar.
