I'm not sure which bug you rerferrd. PM is very solid and have been used
for years. You may study guide in jwiki on how to build standalone
applications.
Unlike other script base IDE (VB, delphi), J does not force you to use
PM. But at least for me, it is unthinkable how to live without PM,
analogous to that between c programmers and make.
