What I wanted was the following verb in gerund form
partition_list=:4 : 0 NB. '$0`(x{.y);(x partition_list }.y)@.x<:#y'
if. x>#y do. $0 return. end.
(x{.y);(x partition_list }.y)
)
So that I could do
3 partition_list 'adfggr'
for example
