<QUOTE href=http://www.jsoftware.com/help/jforc/declarations.htm>
Once you have picked a cell size, you can think of your noun as an
array of cells; the shape of that array is called the frame of the
noun relative to the chosen rank of cell.

... however, what is meant by the 'size' of a cell? it's rank? it's
shape? The term size has no prior definition. There is no way to
logically understand this sentence. Please help.
The cell size defines what a cell is.
In other words, the size of a cell would be the number of
(trailing) dimensions that make up a cell.
If you limit yourself to this quote, you could also think of
the size of a cell as the list of dimensions which make up
the cell. You wind up with a slightly different abstraction
this way, but I don't see any concrete differences (in this
context) in the general concept of what a cell is.
