There is a probllem with the J installer in Vista 32bit and 64bit. I have
not tracked down the problem but it seems to be right at the very end of the
install and as far as I can tell everything for the install has in fact
completeed successfully.
Was the program group J created and were J icons created? If they were you
should be able to run J32 with the blue J icon.
If you are installing J64 then you need to make sure that you have the Java
64 bit runtime installed and possibly adjust the red J icon to have the
correct path to where you installed it.
I have been running Vista64 for a few weeks now and am quite happy with it
and J. The J602 beta and finall release will resolve these install problems.
