Not sure what to suggest but I just wasted a sheet of paper
doing the following:
require 'print'
print i.3
version ''
Binary: j601binc_darwin_powerpc
Library: j601libc
Help: j601hlpc
Engine: j601/2006-11-17/17:05
ProductName: Mac OS X
ProductVersion: 10.4.9
BuildVersion: 8P135
java version "1.5.0_07" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard
Edition (build 1.5.0_07-164) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build
1.5.0_07-87, mixed mode, sharing)
That is, it printed 0 1 2 on my default printer immediately
(no print dialog or option to save to PDF etc...) It would
be much nicer if there was a proper OSX interface, but it
certainly did something (that made a kind of sense).

It's an Intel Macbook running OSX 10.4.9. Neither the print verbs
nor the File Print menu do anything at all.
With respect to the suggestion to use the Edit | Export Script.
There is no such menu item on the Mac. I can, of course, copy and
paste into a word processor.
