Isn't the statement always true?

v a c v equals
(v a) c v equals
(v a) (c v)

The statement is not always allowed -- sometimes you would
get a syntax error. For example, consider the case where (v a)
results in a conjunction (or when v a is a noun, but body of some
explicit definition for c is syntactically when its u is a noun).
