Tacit verbs can be thought of as distinct from explicit (personally, I
think of explicit definitions as a particular kind of tacit expression).

Anyways, the rank of a hook or a fork is infinite, but adverbs
and conjunctions each have their own rules (which may be based
on the ranks of argument verbs).
