There are two verbs that I use extensively to do transaction matching and
they require a tolerant sort.
I can certainly rephrase your code:
tolgu =: /: (/:@[ /:@:{ +/\@(~: _1 |. ])@:{) ]
But, if anything, I'm making it slower, at least for sample data like
n=.(?1e6#1e5)+(?1e6#8) * 0.5 * 9!:18''
Then again, given that tgu is only about three times slower than
grade up, there's not much room for speed improvements.
