On one of the Windows machines on which I use J, I now
use software that puts a bar at the very top of the
display.  Many applications open windows below this
bar.  J 601 is among those that do not recognize that
another application has attempted to reserve that
portion of display.

I would not consider this a bug, nor an important
omission.  The adjustment may, however, be easy enough
to implement to be worth doing.  It would add a small
sense of polish to the software when run in a Windows
environment where this situation occurs.
