same cell more than once (including formatting). This requires some
gymnastics when trying to format a worksheet with data, but is doable.
Borders are perhaps the most tedious, and drastically increase the
number of cells with distinct formats.

cells and set their top border or outline border. Instead your have to
write string/number/blank to each cell individually to set the cell
border and content in the same 'writestring'/'writenumber'."
While creating a sheet, I discovered that if the border format has been
previously defined and you use addcolinfo to change the column width,
the border setting of all the cells in the column is set (doesn't seem
to work with addrowinfo & row height). If there are cells in the column
that have already been written then, their border will not be changed,
so unfortunately it isn't a mechanism to specify borders independent of
writestring/writenumber, but still potentially useful as long as it
isn't likely to cause problems with the file format.
Is using addcolinfo to set borders likely to cause problems with the
file or is it "allowed"?
