The file you downloaded and re-installed doesn't contain the latest system scripts. It has the scripts that were current when J601 was released back in November 2006. You can download the system scripts separately from this link. http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/JAL/j601#direct Once you've done that, Package Manager will be installed and you can use it to keep your system scripts (also known as the base library) up-to-date. You may have to configure some external programs for Package Manager to work properly.
