Thanks for the list of known issues. I updated LAPACK
with JAL, and the lab does run without the link file
in the folder.

Yes, I find that now on my Linux machine. On that machine,
I get an error in the demo button, but can run eigenpictures
with load'~system\examples\....\eigenpic.ijs'
* on (at least ppc) Mac eigenpic crashes on Run button
(probably inside Java wd or gl..., not LAPACK)
and should probably use plot instead of custom graphics
Yes, on intel Macs too.
* image3 addon for darwin is ppc only,
should be universal binary
Hope someone can get around to making that update.
* for Linux, demo dialog might require Mesa OpenGL
(though it should not)

which was just a link to

I've restored the functioning of the LAPACK lab on the Mac
by adding the above
link to the ~addons/math/lapack/ folder. The demo is still broken.
Also, the image3 lab fails. I've not looked at anything else.
At least that worked in the lab and with direct calls, even it the
eigenpicture demo was broken.
