Roger Hui's post of Thu Oct 4 23:05:10 HKT 2007 was
particularly interesting. I am certain I will need to
use the techniques referred to there. I do not yet
have a clear idea of how to implement this. In
particular, the following sentence provides advice I
am not yet able to follow.
> If not ordinals or codes, use a k-column literal
> matrix where k e. 1 2 4 to encode k-byte integers,
> and convert each time you need the numbers.
I would like to be able to study a wiki essay on this
technique. If writing such an essay is a pleasant
endeavor for anybody, I'm confident it will be
appreciated widely.
