My daughter wanted to look at games and I looked in jsoftware for mastermind and found moo
She tried it and said it did not work so I tested it and sure enough it looked like it did not work always but on closer inspection it was we that gave wrong clues so no wonder it did not give right answer. Also to note is that the numbers you think of must be distinct. So moo is working as designed and quite interesting. Would it make a much difference to allow the numbers to be repeted? Using 7 numbers seems to be the limit to use Everyone who has played mastermind knows how frustrating it is to be given wrong clues. Using moo is a good way of showing the kids what happens if wrong clues are given and you do not need to suffer. J does the suffering for you. I think I looked briefly at moo a way back but I guess I did not pay too much attention to it. It is actually good. Would be interesting to have graphics front end on it. -- Björn Helgason, Verkfræðingur Fugl&Fiskur ehf, Þerneyjarsund 23, Box 127 801 Grímsnes ,t-póst: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Skype: gosiminn, gsm: +3546985532 Landslags og skrúðgarðagerð, gröfuþjónusta http://groups.google.com/group/J-Programming Tæknikunnátta höndlar hið flókna, sköpunargáfa er meistari einfaldleikans góður kennari getur stigið á tær án þess að glansinn fari af skónum /|_ .-----------------------------------. ,' .\ / | Með léttri lund verður | ,--' _,' | Dagurinn í dag | / / | Enn betri en gærdagurinn | ( -. | `-----------------------------------' | ) | (\_ _/) (`-.
