I have tried and failed. Given that the OS is basically Fedora Core 7, I installed the 32-bit Linux version in the flash file system. I probably could have left it on a USB drive. Invoking jconsole gives an "illegal instruction" error. I have spent very little time investigating the problem, so it may be a trivial error. It looks as though the correct libraries are present.
