Release "highlights" indeed says that. They could have at least
removed the jserver class and its documentation.
Is the shared library interface documented somewhere? I couldn't
figure out how to work it from the example in
system/examples/dll/jdll.ijs.

I was able to get jdll.ijs to work (WIN VISTA32) by making the following change:
dll=. tolower each {."1 [ 1!:0 <'*.dll'
to
dll=. tolower each {."1 [ 1!:0 <'bin/*.dll' NB. DM 2008 03 18
load 'c:\users\me\j602\system\examples\dll\jdll.ijs'
jdo 'ABC=: i.2 3 4'
