J602 does not use registry. It's a copy installation. To save you time to re-install, backup c:, e.g. Nero bootable backup DVD; it's compressed so 5-8Gb would fit; while create the image can be stored on d: up until actual restore is needed. After a screw-up the system is back on in a few minutes. Repeat backup after more useful base software is installed.
