Thanks, Bill, for expaining the dual clipboards. Thank you, Björn, for telling
me how I can use the
selection feature with my archaic two-button mouse.
So, no difference in result occurs when I use the X-Windows selection
copy/paste technique.It works fine from anywhere into the J window, and from J
into anywhere other than Firefox. (I have not tested a wide variety of
applications to date, mind you.)
The selection-copy is a nice feature. I'm glad to learn about it.
Gotta wonder, what's undermining clipboard data under such specific
circumstances?
